Welcome To The NEW Shorewood-RealEstate.com

Its been a long time in the making, but now my "new & improved" Inside Shorewood Real Estate website at Shorewood-RealEstate.net is up and running.

The change was mandated because:

• I recently switched offices from RE/MAX Pinnacle in Shorewood (the office closed which is a story for another time) and I moved literally across the street to Realty Executives Success.
• The site was looking outdated and many of the features were no longer applicable.

So what's new in the "new" Shorewood Real Estate site:

• Added a MLS Search page. From that page you can go to the Search tools at TimSoper.com which is my official Realty Executives site and where any email from me will be sent. The interface is very user friendly and has all the features you need for MLS search such as email updates, virtual tours, & full listing details. I've also added the RealBird® Search widget (which you'll find in the left-hand sidebar) which in addition to local search works for finding properties nationally.
• Also on the Search page, I've added a link to a 7 day free trial at Foreclosure.com. Frankly, I am happy to use my own foreclosure service to find foreclosure opportunities for you, but I know that many people want to be able to search for pre-foreclosures, foreclosures, and bank REO properties on their own. And I have an offer for a FREE 6 months of Foreclosure.com membership fees that you should check out.
• Updated Shorewood IL real estate statistics for 2008. The statistics for 2009 will be up during the first week of January 2010. You can see that closed sale really fell off from 2007 (down 25% to 30%) and although they are not down as much percentage wise for 2009, Shorewood real estate sales are down for the year.

In the coming few weeks, I will be adding:

• Original real estate articles from the perspective of a Shorewood Real Estate agent (me).
• Some "how to" videos about foreclosures, 1st time homebuyers, 100% loan programs, etc.
• A Link to my foreclosure help/prevention program called Illinois Stop Foreclosure, where I work with Attorney Don Zweig to help homeowners escape foreclosure via a Short Sale.
